(NASDAQ NM: MFRI) announced today immediate availability of the next generation of 100% Spun Bond Polyester Media, SB’ (SB Prime) for their TDC brand pleated filter elements and dust collector cartridges. Independent laboratory analysis and numerous successful installations has proven SB’ to provide a higher micro-particle removal effectiveness.
SB’ when utilized in a pleated filter product, produces significant improvements in baghouse and dust collector optimization. The fine denier SB’ (See Photo to Right) media is recommended for a wide variety of powder and bulk industry applications where micro-particle filtration is essential. Benefits include: extended filter bag life, reduced downtime and maintenance costs, greater efficiency capturing and controlling airborne contaminants, superior release characteristics and improved airflow capacity.
The SB (spun bond) media is available in a variety of specialty finishes, including the SB-HO (hydro and oleo- phobic finish repelling oil and water, for applications with moderate moisture and oil combination), SB-ME (aluminized ant-static surface, for applications needing to meet NFPA 77 regulations*) and SB-TX (ePTFE membrane laminate, for applications needing fine particulate filtration).
