TDC FILTER TO RELOCATE MANUFACTURING PLANT TO BOLINGBROOK, IL

WINCHESTER, VA AUGUST 1, 2008: As a key part of Midwesco Filter’s global manufacturing strategy, TDC Filter Manufacturing (a subsidiary of Midwesco Filter Resources, Inc.) announced that it will relocate its current Cicero, IL manufacturing plant location to Bolingbrook, IL effective August 1, 2008. The first phase of the relocation is to move the corporate offices to the new site and get the telecommunications and IT infrastructure working properly. The second phase of the relocation is to move the manufacturing equipment to the new site in time to start manufacturing August 8, 2008.
“The move is designed to streamline our manufacturing costs, and bring increased consistency and efficiency to the company’s pleated and cartridge production process in the U.S. market. This move will make us more competitive in the U.S. and strengthen our distribution efforts through making them more efficient”, said Cartridge Division Sr. Vice President, McLeod Stephens. The new facility allows for more efficient movement of people, finished products and raw materials with allows for significant increased manufacturing capacity with quicker lead times.
